Palletizing robot is a kind of palletizing equipment on the production line. The manipulator and the main body of the fuselage can respectively realize 360° horizontal and accurate rotation in three-dimensional coordinates through the electronic control servo system and the central rotation device. The heavy-duty palletizing robot with a load of up to 600 kilograms at one time grabbing and palletizing can fully meet the heavy-duty palletizing needs of block (brick) and other related industries.
The handling robot is an industrial robot that can perform automated handling operations. Handling refers to the use of a piece of equipment to hold the workpiece, which refers to moving from one processing position to another processing position. The handling robot can be installed with different end effectors to complete the handling of workpieces of various shapes and states, which greatly reduces the heavy physical labor of humans. Handling robots are widely used in automatic handling of machine tools, automatic production lines of presses, automatic assembly lines, palletizing and handling, containers, etc. Some developed countries have already worked out the maximum manual handling limit, and the handling robot must complete the handling exceeding the limit.
The difference between a handling robot and a palletizing robot is determined by the nature of their work. The two kinds of robots are the same in terms of hardware composition and control methods. Specifically, the hardware structure composition is composed of drivers, motors, reducers, control systems, etc. Of course, the difference in the number of axes is the code. Palletizing robots are generally four-axis robots, and conventional handling robots are six-axis robots.
The palletizing robot is more unitary and does not require high flexibility of the robot manipulator. It is usually an industrial manipulator robot composed of four joint degrees of freedom, so it only needs to move the plane position. The application of palletizing robots is more specific. Generally, they can only carry on flat surfaces, and cannot rotate in space like six-axis. Handling industrial robots not only need to carry out grasping actions, but also cooperate with machine tool processing procedures to rotate, turn, and rotate products. U-turn, side-turning and other actions are also carried on the assembly line conveyor belt, so most of the handling robots are completed by the six-degree-of-freedom manipulator.
